Baked Apples

4 medium green apples, 1 tablespoon unsweetened apple core removed juice concentrate 16 cloves 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Place the apples in 1/2 shallow, microwave-safe dish. Place four cloves in the cavity of each apple. Drizzle the apple concentrate over the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with paper towel.

Microwave on high for 6 to 8 minutes Turn the apples once during cooking.

Allow to stand for 1/2 further 10 minutes.

Baked bananas.

4 bananas whole, peeled pinch nutmeg.

1/4 cup unsweetened orange juice pinch cinnamon.

1 tablespoon lemon juice pinch ginger.

1 tablespoon grated orange rind.

Place the bananas in 1/2 medium-sized, deep, microwave-safe dish. Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over the bananas. Cover.

Microwave on high for 2 minutes Turn and rearrange once during cooking. Allow to stand for 1/2 further.

1 to 2 minutes.

This dessert may be cooked in individual serving dishes.
