Baked Pears Helene

2 medium pears, peeled, cored, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cut in half apple juice.

4 pieces crystallized ginger, soaked teaspoon cinnamon for 1 hour in boiling water, finely chopped.

Coat the pear pieces with the apple juice and arrange them in 1/2 flat, shallow, microwave-safe dish. Place the chopped ginger in the centre of each pear and dust with the cinnamon. Cover.

Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes Rearrange pears once during cooking. Allow to stand for 1/2 further 4 to.

4 bananas, sliced 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

4 tablespoons unsweetened grated rind of 1 lemon.

Apple juice.

Place the apple juice, lemon rind and cinnamon equally into four small, microwave-safe dessert dishes. Cover.

Microwave on high for 1 minute.

Add 1/2 sliced banan1/2 into each dish, gently fold in the liquid. Do not cover.

Microwave on high for 1 minute Stir once during cooking. Serve immediately. Serves 4
