Baking soda is excellent for acidic skin rashes, such as certain kinds of diaper rashes, and the tea tree oil adds antimicrobial action.
2 teaspoon baking soda
3 drops tea tree essential oil
Drop the tea tree oil into the baking soda and stir well. Makes enough for 1 or 2 applications.
Variation: To make a larger quantity use 1/2 cup of baking soda and 36 drops of tea tree oil. Place baking soda in a jar, then drop in the tea tree oil while stirring in well. Cap the jar tightly and shake to continue mixing the ingredients. Store in a cool, dark place. Makes 1/2 cup of powder, enough for 20 or more treatments.
