Add the remaining ingredients and thoroughly mix. Cover.
Microwave on high for 4 minutes Stir at least three times during cooking. Allow to stand for 1/2 further 1 minute. Discard the bayleaves.
Serve with your favourite vegetables, salad or meat dish, or as an entree.
