Goal Pace beauty are broken out in the schedules as Goal Pace: Watch and Goal Pace: No Watch. The differences in these workouts are as follows:Goal Pace: Watch. Wear a digital watch during this workout and monitor your splits every mile. As you cross the mile markers, take close mental notes on how you feel. If you are off pace, pick it up or slow it down. You have to nail the pace no matter what. On these days it’s OK to refer to your watch. Think of your timekeeping device as a guide that is helping you learn what goal pace should feel like. Goal Pace: No Watch. Optimally, you will conduct these workouts with someone who can time you during the entire workout.
