Cleanse and Calm Salt Soak Homemade

A strong-cleansing, antifungal hand soak that is calming. The jojoba oil is added to prevent the skin from drying out.

8 drops tea tree essential oil 2 tablespoons jojoba oil or other rich

8 drops lavender essential oil carrier oil of choice

4 drops chamomile essential oil 6 tablespoons sea salt

Place salt in a glass jar with a tight fitting nonmetallic lid, add jojoba oil and stir in thoroughly. Add essential oils into the salt a few drops at a time, stirring in thoroughly after each dropping; when done adding the oil, cap tightly so the volatile oils do not evaporate and the salt continues to absorb them. You may use them right away or store them in a cool, dark place. Add 1-2 teaspoon of salts per hand soak. If skin should feel dry after soak apply a moisturizer. Makes enough for 9-18 soaks.
