Brandy Toddler

You will need for 1 glass: 2-3 Ice cubes 2 parts brandy 1 teaspoon sugar or water sugar syrup 1 slice fresh lemon rind

1 Put the Ice cubes into an old-fashioned glass.

2 Pour the sugar and brandy over the ice.

3 Add a little water.

4 Twist the lemon rind over the mixture and drop it in.

5 Stir gently and serve.

Brandy Manhattan

You will need for 1 glass: 4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts brandy 1 part sweet Italian 1 maraschino cherry vermouth (optional)

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the vermouth and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

4 Garnish with the cherry.

Brandy Perfect

You will need for 1 glass: 4-5 Ice cubes 1 part sweet Italian 1 part dry French vermouth vermouth 3 parts brandy

1 slice fresh lemon rind

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the vermouths and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

4 Twist the lemon rind over the mixture and drop it in.

Paris

You will need for 1 glass: 4-5 Ice cubes 1 part dry French

5 drops Pernod vermouth

3 parts brandy

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the Pernod, the vermouth and the brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

Balmoral

You will need for 1 glass: 4-5 Ice cubes 1 part dry French 3 drops Angostura vermouth bitters 3 parts brandy

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Shake the bitters and pour the vermouth and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

Melbourne

You will need for 1 glass: 4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts brandy

1 part Curapao 1 slice fresh lemon rind

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the Curasao and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

4 Twist the lemon rind over the mixture and drop it in.

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts brandy

1 part Drambuie 1 slice fresh lemon rind

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the Drambuie and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

4 Twist the lemon rind over the mixture and drop it in.
