You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 1 part Cointreau.

3 drops Angostura 3 parts brandy.

Bitters.

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Shake the bitters over the ice.

3 Add the Cointreau and brandy.

4 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

Friar.

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts brandy.

1 part Benedictine water.

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the Benedictine and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

4 Top with a little water and serve.

Fioupe.

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 1 part B6n6dictine.

1 part dry French 3 parts brandy.

Vermouth 1 slice fresh lemon rind.

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Pour the vermouth, Benedictine and brandy over the ice.

3 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

4 Twist the lemon rind over the mixture and drop it in.

Tours.

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 1 part dry French.

3 drops Angostura vermouth.

Bitters 3 parts brandy.

5 drops Pernod.

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Shake the bitters over the Ice and add the Pernod.

3 Pour in the vermouth and brandy.

4 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

Darnley.

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 1 teaspoon dry French.

3 drops orange bitters vermouth.

Or Angostura bitters 1 part Cointreau.

3 parts brandy.

1 Put the Ice cubes into a glass jug.

2 Shake the bitters over the Ice and add the vermouth.

3 Pour in the Cointreau and brandy.

4 Stir vigorously; strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.
