Cooking Time: 15 minutes.

You will need for 4 servings: 4 oz. Cooked meat, 1 pint curry sauce chopped 3 oz. Cooked rice 8 oz. Flaky pastry (see 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped beaten egg for glazing.

2 teaspoons chutney.

1 Mix together meat, rice, eggs and chutney with sufficient sauce to give a moist consistency.

2 Roll out pastry 1 inch thick and cut into 4-inch squares.

3 Place a spoonful of filling in each square. Moisten edges of pastry with water or egg.

4 Fold corner into the centre to form an envelope.

5 Brush with egg and place on a baking tray.

6 Bake in a very hot oven (475‚°F – Gas Mark 8) until golden.

Super supper.

Cooking Time: 20 minutes You will need for 4 servings:

8 oz. Streaky bacon 1 lb. Boiled potatoes.

1 small onion.

1 small green pepper salt and pepper.

4 eggs 1 oz. Butter 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated.

1 Chop the bacon and fry gently. Remove from the pan.

2 Dice the potato, chop the onion and pepper. Cook in the bacon fat until lightly browned.

3 Turn into a flame-proof dish, with the bacon, and keep hot. Season.

4 Fry the eggs in the butter. Place on top of the potato mixture. Cover with grated cheese and brown under the grill.
