Golden Cakes Recipe

Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes

You will need:

8 oz. flour

1 teaspoon baking powder pinch salt

4 oz. margarine

4 oz. sugar 3 eggs

3 tablespoons marmalade lemon icing

1 Grease eighteen queen cake or deep patty tins.

2 Sieve flour, baking powder and salt.

3 Cream fat and sugar.

4 Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating each in well before adding the next.

5 Stir in the marmalade. Fold in the dry ingredients.

6 Half fill prepared tins. Bake at 375°F – Gas Mark 5.

7 Cool on a wire tray. Top each with lemon glacd icing (85).
