The Fat-Soluble Vitamins
The fat-soluble vitamins related to the health of hair, skin, Natural curly haircuts with side bangs and nails include vitamin A and vitamin E. These vitamins are stored in the body, and excesses are not excreted in the urine as are excesses of water-soluble vitamins. Deficiency symptoms develop slowly because fat-soluble vitamins can be stored and used over time. Because fat-soluble vitamins are not excreted, they can build up in the body and reach toxic levels.
Vitamin A: Vitamin A is important in the maintenance of healthy skin. Without adequate amounts of this vitamin, the soft, smooth surface of the skin becomes scaly and dry. Although this condition can result from several nutrient deficiencies, the dryness and flakiness in a vitamin A deficiency is partially caused by the breakdown of the sweat glands that normally keep skin moist. The scalp can become reddened and sore and the hair can become dry and bleached out. Hair loss and dandruff are other signs of a vitamin A deficiency.
Like the essential fats and vitamin C, a lack of vitamin A is associated with small hard bumps on the skin. Vitamin A is necessary for healthy oil production in the skin and scalp. Adequate intake of vitamin A helps to maintain healthy, shiny, hair and moist skin that is not prone to premature wrinkles.
