Pork Chops Country Style Recipe

Cooking Time: 20 minutes You will need for 4 servings:

4 loin chops fresh breadcrumbs.

1 egg 11 oz. Butter.

1 teaspoon powdered apple sauce.

Salt and pepper.

1 Trim the chops, removing as much fat as possible.

2 Beat the egg, add sage and a pinch of salt and pepper.

3 Coat each chop with egg and breadcrumbs.

4 Fry in butter, turning frequently, until golden brown and tender.

5 Serve with apple sauce and creamed potato.

Barbecued lamb.

6 oz. Long grained rice 1 oz. Butter 1 dessertspoon vinegar.

1 teaspoon dry mustard.

4 tablespoons red currant jelly seasoning 8 oz.

Cooked lamb 1 small packet frozen peas.

1 Cook the rice in boiling salted water for about.

12 minutes.

2 Meanwhile, melt the butter and add the vinegar, red currant jelly and mustard.

3 Heat through and season to taste with salt and pepper.

4 Cut the lamb into cubes, add to sauce and heat through for about 10 minutes.

5 Cook peas as directed on the packet.

6 Drain the rice, rinse and drain again.

7 Mix rice and peas, place in a hot dish, pile lamb in the centre and serve.
