Add herbs and spices, e.g. cayenne pepper, cuny powder, garlic powder, dill, parsley, etc. To the cooked rice.
1. Add 1 tablespoon unsweetened apple juice concentrate to the cooked rice.

Add cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, etc. To the cooked rice.
3 slices of approved Pritikin bread.
With an electric knife (or 1/2 very sharp knife) cut the crusts off each slice of bread. Cut into small squares to resemble croutons. Arrange separately on 1/2 paper towel in the microwave oven. Do not cover.
Microwave on high for 3 minutes Rearrange the croutons so all sides dry out crisply. Allow to dry after cooking.
Store in an airtight jar. Use on salads or to garnish your favourite soup. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
