Having a good skin-care routine doesn’t require lots of bottles and complicated steps. Cleansing and moisturizing are the two basic elements. Most men use bar soap on their bodies and faces. If that works for you, fine. But if you have sensitive skin or extremely dry or oily skin, you may want to find a more gentle cleansing cream or gel.
Find a good basic moisturizer (men usually prefer unscented formulas) for face and body. Apply when your skin is still damp from the shower.
Creams and lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids help smooth skin, and can even prevent blackheads and in-grown hairs.
Beware: Do not apply AHA skin lotions on just-shaved skin it can burn.
Wear a heavier cream or balm on face for skiing or water sports.
