Suction Blister Grafting
Here, a special suction device that inadvertently causes blisters and the separation of the dermis from the epidermis is used. Afterwards, the separated epidermis is placed on the Vitiligo section of the skin. This therapy involves petite scaring, and the area between grafts stays hypo-pigmented.
In these therapies, the melanocytes, combined melanocytes, and keratinocytes are transplanted into the skin. The area in which the cells are to be transplanted is abraded with a laser. Dressing, consisting of the relevant cells is placed in the area, and the area remains covered until the skin heals. Moreover, it is, with this respect, essential to bear in mind that, light is also used to enhance the process of pigmentation.

a) Transplantation Of Pure Melanocytes
This method requires an optimum growth medium, and as this is hard to achieve, it often delivers uncharacterized results. Development of malignant melanocytes cells could be caused if the proper growth medium is not used.
b) Transplanting Melanocytes and Keratinocytes Together
Since this technique does not require a growth medium, it is considered easier than the previous one. This is because the keratinocytes stimulate the production of melanocytes. Both the melanocytes and keratinocytes are hence eliminated from the donor skin.
Vitiligo medical procedures and their possible adverse side effects include skin damage, itching, premature aging, and increased risk of skin cancer, reddening of the skin, and dry skin.
Adverse effects of micro-pigmentation are: tattoo color fades with time, red bumps due to inflammation, keloid scars, allergic reactions, mismatch of tattoo color, and tattoo colors do not tan.
Adverse effects of steroids include relapse, stretch marks, and skin damage. Examiner laser also leads to, blisters, sores, erythema, and hyperpigmentation. Depigmentation causes factors such as it is not easily reversible; skin becomes sensitive to sunlight, redness and inflammation, itching, and dry skin.
